Electronics decisions deserve more than a number.
CircuitClarity exists for the moment a formula is necessary but not sufficient. A designer can calculate a divider ratio, an LED resistor, a filter frequency, or a power loss in seconds. The harder question is what the result means under real constraints: a component tolerance, a supply range, a load, a temperature change, a noise source, a layout decision, or the practical values available from a distributor.
Who this is for
The site is for students learning to connect equations to physical circuits, makers building low-voltage projects, embedded developers selecting interface parts, technicians checking a design assumption, and engineers who want a fast, transparent first pass before consulting a datasheet, simulation, or measurement. The common need is not a particular credential. It is a desire to see the reasoning behind a design choice.
What a CircuitClarity tool is meant to do
A useful result arrives first. From there, a tool can check that the stated conditions make sense, show the governing electrical relationship, expose the variation most likely to change the decision, compare practical options, and identify the next implementation check. The depth follows the job. A small conversion does not need a lecture. A power path, component choice, or high-frequency layout question may need more context before its answer can be used responsibly.
What CircuitClarity deliberately does not claim
CircuitClarity is not a replacement for a manufacturer datasheet, SPICE model, calibrated instrument, professional engineering review, or safety and compliance process. It does not provide home wiring, permit, breaker-sizing, or electrical-code guidance. When a decision has high energy, life-safety, medical, automotive safety, or regulatory consequences, the appropriate next step is deeper validation by the people, references, and measurements that fit that context.
Why it stays browser-local
A circuit scenario often contains the details of a project someone is actively designing. CircuitClarity is designed so ordinary calculations and preferences can remain on the device where they were entered. No account is needed to use a tool, and the product does not depend on sending design inputs to a remote calculation service.
